OSS Marketer Studio — User Guide
Every feature of the studio, step by step · Updated September 2026
  1. On first launch the Setup Wizard opens. Step 1 picks your interface language — choose your native language first; everything else follows.
  2. Step 2 picks your currency, step 3 your look (dark/light + color palette). Step 4 sets up your brand: name, X handle and a quick topic — the Writer drafts your first tweet on the spot and you can post it to X right from the studio (every post carries the ⚡ Powered by OSS Marketer badge). Step 5 adds wellness goals and your first check-in. Step 6 introduces the OSS Assistant and gives you a first task to ask it — try it live, right from the wizard. You can re-run it anytime from Settings → Setup Wizard.
  3. Use the globe button in the top bar to switch language instantly at any time — no need to visit Settings.
  4. Set your theme (dark/light) and color palette under Settings → Appearance.
Note: The manual you are reading is also downloadable as a PDF from the Download button at the top of the Help page.
  1. The four stat cards show Total Packs, Stories in Locker, Slots This Week and Total Clicks across all tracked links.
  2. “Today’s Briefing” builds a chronological day plan from your calendar, drafts and wellness check-ins. Press Generate now, then View full briefing.
  3. Click a pack under Recent Packs to open its Pack Detail page.
  4. Weekly Activity charts how many packs you created each of the last 7 days.
  5. Quick Actions jump straight to Writer, Create Pack, Calendar and Link Tracker.
Note: The briefing can also be emailed to you daily — enable it under Settings → Daily Briefing.
  1. Drag files (or a whole folder) anywhere on the page — everything lands in the locker as Unfiled.
  2. Or use Upload files, the Paste save box (title + body), or jump to the Writer.
  3. Filter by folder (FolderBar), status (Draft / Ready / Promoted / Archived) or free-text search.
  4. Each story row can be moved to a folder, sent to → Pack, scheduled to the calendar, or deleted.
  5. The header badges show stored MB and file-type counts. Capacity is 1,000 stories.
Note: Clicking a story opens its full detail page.
Note: Naming note: the sidebar item labelled “Packs” opens this Storage Locker; promotion packs themselves are created on the Create Post page and opened from the Dashboard or Pack Detail.
  1. Edit title/body and Save edits — the word count recalculates automatically.
  2. Switch status with the Draft / Ready / Promoted / Archived buttons.
  3. Copy the watermarked body, schedule it to the calendar, send it to → Create Pack, or delete it.
  4. Attachments render inline (images, video, audio, PDFs) and can be downloaded or opened.
  1. Optionally Scan an affiliate link (or pick a promotion and press Send to Scan) so the writer sells the real product.
  2. Enter a Subject (required), optional Angle and Audience, pick a Length, and toggle the FTC disclosure — optional per post: on for posts with affiliate links or selling, off for plain content (it starts from your Settings default).
  3. Press Write full piece — a structured article generates in your brand voice and language.
  4. Build a CTA block (headline, button label, destination URL) and press Add to Post; add up to 5 affiliate hyperlinks.
  5. Save to locker, send to → Create Pack, or Publish to Blog.
  6. The Post to all sites panel assembles FTC + post + CTA + badge per platform and opens each network’s compose window.
Note: Voice and brand come from Settings → Brand & voice.
Note: The FTC toggle is optional per post — on for posts with affiliate links or selling, off for plain content. It applies to the Post to all sites panel only — generated article bodies never contain the disclosure.
  1. Scan a link for product context, or load a story from the Storage Locker, or paste source text directly.
  2. Set the CTA headline, button label and destination URL, plus up to 5 affiliate hyperlinks (or import checked links from the Link Locker).
  3. Press Create Pack — the studio generates platform social posts, a Canva brief, 5 still prompts and a 30s video recipe.
  4. Open View pack for the full detail page, Publish to Blog, or share from the Post to all sites panel.
Note: Packs are numbered by slot; the count appears on the Dashboard and sidebar.
  1. Open a pack from the Dashboard (Recent Packs) or the Create Post page.
  2. Copy any social post, the Canva brief, any still prompt or the video recipe with the Copy buttons.
  3. The CTA & links block previews your headline and button with the destination URL.
  4. Delete the pack with the confirm guard — this cannot be undone.
  1. My platforms: pick up to five networks — auto-schedule, story scheduling and the add-slot dropdown use exactly these.
  2. Click any day (or its + button) to add a slot: time, platform, type (Pack / Story / Promotion / Custom) and a content preview.
  3. Auto-schedule creates best-time slots for every pack on your chosen platforms.
  4. Switch month ↔ list view, change timezone, jump to Today.
  5. Toggle GCal sync to mirror new slots into Google Calendar (needs the Google Calendar connector). Deleting a synced slot removes the Google event too.
  6. Click a slot to open its pack or story; Clear removes all slots.
Note: Best posting times per platform are built into auto-schedule.
  1. Pick a pack, tick the target platforms, and choose which assets to include (social text plus PDF / image / video / audio from the linked story).
  2. Press Add all links to tracker so every destination becomes a counted tracked link.
  3. Copy bundle, or use Mark shared once you have posted — it saves the date and platforms on the pack and adds a Shared badge.
  4. Open compose windows for each selected platform and paste.
Note: File assets are pulled from the Storage Locker story linked to the pack.
  1. Connect Google Analytics (Connectors page), pick a property, and read page views, sessions, users and top pages for the last 7 days.
  2. Create a tracked link by label + destination URL (optionally tied to a pack) — the tracked URL is copied to your clipboard.
  3. Paste tracked URLs anywhere you post; clicks are counted automatically.
  4. Stats cards show total links, total clicks and your top performer; copy or delete links per row.
Note: Tracked links use the built-in trackLink redirect — no extra setup needed.
  1. Schedule workouts with the Workout Scheduler.
  2. Log a Daily Check-In: sleep, exercise, water, weight, mood — streaks count automatically.
  3. Set goals (sleep, exercise, water, weight, steps, custom) and track progress.
  4. The Weekly Chart visualizes your last 7 days; Reminders keep the habits alive.
  1. Tap Connect on a registered connector (Google Calendar, Gmail) and authorize your own account via OAuth.
  2. Google Analytics authorizes read-only traffic access for the Analytics page.
  3. Systeme.io uses an API key (not OAuth) — its status shows whether the key is set.
  4. Other catalog services (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slack, Notion, …) are listed as Available; connecting them requires the workspace admin to register the OAuth app first.
  5. Disconnect works per user — your data stays yours.
Note: Each connection is per-user: two people in the studio never share an account.
  1. Appearance: dark/light background and a color palette — changes apply instantly.
  2. Language & Localization: search and pick any of 24 interface languages; it persists immediately.
  3. Brand & voice: brand name, voice/tone (used by the AI writer), currency, default FTC disclosure (you can still turn it off per post).
  4. Blog Connection: author name, default GFTB category, featured toggle, and Test connection to verify the blog endpoint.
  5. Daily Briefing: enable the 6:00 AM MT email, set recipient, send a test.
  6. Linked social accounts: store handles, open each platform’s compose page.
  7. Studio notes: your private scratchpad for links, ideas and contacts.
  8. Danger Zone: permanently deletes ALL stories, packs, promotions, tracked links and calendar slots.
Note: Sign out ends your session and returns you to the login screen.
  1. Open the assistant from the floating button (bottom right). Ask any marketing question — strategy, angles, platform tactics, metrics, FTC rules.
  2. It knows your studio context: brand, voice, language, current page, recent packs and tracked-link clicks.
  3. It can stage ideas and angles (→ Create Post), analyze your tracked-link performance, and suggest content optimizations.
  4. If you ask for something it can’t do, it says so, points you to the matching User Guide section, and offers the closest thing it CAN do.
  5. The conversation is remembered within the session (last 50 messages, last 12 sent to the AI).
Note: The assistant never auto-posts, never publishes, and never invents abilities — the capability list above is enforced in its instructions.
